It’s just like mine. 5.2 Magnum, 5 speed manual, 4x4, SLT. Even has overloads! You’ll get a one-up on mine though with those airbags, totes jelly. For eight bills, you literally cannot go wrong with this truck.

Can confirm. My third gen Dakota wishes it had the brutal masculinity of this truck... My 4.7 is a POS.
Can’t go wrong with a v8 6 speed truck though. I wish they made an R/T with the 5.7 hemi. 200hp just isn’t enough for me.

My 4.7auto (‘01 QC 2wd) has been pretty rock solid. The front suspension is a damn joke though. Between my previous 98 (CC V8 5spd 2wd - kept it to 100k mi) and my 01 (171k mi) I’ve done the fronts 4 (about to be 5) times now. Moog loves me.
I would love to have another 92-96 (had a 93 CC V8 auto), but kids = QuadCab only. Would like to get a clean QC 4x4 V8 5spd.

Yea, the engine is solid but sooo underpowered. And my front suspension seems okay. It’s starting to be worn but the truck only has 57k miles on an ‘05. The amount of times I’ve just beat on it and it takes it no problem is astounding.
